April 1, 2012 at 8:05 PM ET - A truck driver in Norway considered himself lucky Sunday, after a trailer and his tow truck were pulled off of a steep snow-covered cliff. Eyewitness Gunn Iren Johnsrud watched as the tow truck and its load were pulled from County Road 78 in Leirosen, Norway.

The trailer being towed slid to the side of the road, where it fell through a barrier and began descending down the steep slope to a river. The quick-thinking driver immediately hopped out of his truck, which was also dragged down the cliff. The driver was taken to a hospital in Sandnessjøen, where he was treated for broken bones. The driver of the tow truck is presently listed in stable condition at Helgelandssykehuset Sandnessjøen.
